About Kang'o Radio

The name

Kang'o is a tree. In Nyamira village, in Bondo, it was the community's meeting place: people sat in its shade to talk things over. The station took the name and the idea, a place where the community meets, in Dholuo, every day.

What you hear

Talk and call-ins in Dholuo, the morning papers, ohangla and rhumba, the day's news from Siaya county, and the station on the road: funerals, church crusades and ceremonies, carried live.
